Keith Samuel Siegel, who immigrated from the United States, and his wife Aviva (62), who immigrated from South Africa, had lived in Kfar Aza for the past 42 years. Keith is an occupational therapist and a devoted Rolling Stones fan. The couple are the kind and loving parents of four and the proud grandparents of five. They enjoy spending time with their family, and nature hikes.
However, on October 7th, their tranquility was shattered when Hamas terrorists invaded their home. Witnessed by a neighbor, Aviva and Keith were forcefully taken by armed terrorists outside their residence. Subsequently, Hamas released a video on Telegram depicting them inside Keith's car crossing into Gaza.

Aviva was released as part of a temporary cease-fire deal after 51 days. Following her release, Aviva disclosed that during the abduction, Keith was shot in the hand and forcibly taken into the vehicle, resulting in broken ribs.

Thankfully, Keith was released in January 2025 during the cease fire at that time.
